GSM BASED HOME AUTOMATION USING AVR

PROJECT TYPE

Microcontroller(ATMEGA16)hardware design with software development (Device Driver).

 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This Project “GSM BASED HOME AUTOMATION USING AVR MICROCONTROLLER” is used to control the devices in home as well as in industries, Banks, and also in Remote areas. Conventionally, wireless-controlled appliances use RF circuits, which have the drawbacks of limited working range, limited frequency range and limited control. Use of a mobile phone for device control can overcome these limitations. It provides the advantages of robust control, working range as large as the coverage area of the service provider, no interference with other controllers and up to twelve controls.

In this project, we control home appliances either AC Device or DC Device controlled by a mobile phone that makes a call to the mobile phone attached to the control board. In the course of a call, if any button is pressed, a tone corresponding to the button pressed is heard at the other end of the call. This tone is called ‘dual-tone multiple-frequency’ (DTMF) tone. The controller perceives this DTMF tone with the help of the phone stacked in the control board and operate.

DEVICE CONTROL USING REMOTE DESKTOP

PROJECT TYPE

Micro controller (AT89C51) hardware design with software development (Device Driver).

 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In Present days all the machines are controlled from remote areas. Presently all companies are going for automation by using P.C. In this project we are designing a hardware which is going to be connected to the serial communication port. In this software is also designed by using VB6.0 to control the motors from the P.C. We can control the devices from the system they are connected, not only that we can also control those devices from the distinct places through WAN or LAN.

DESTINATION TRACKER USING AT89c51 MICROCONTROLLER

PROJECT TYPE

Micro controller (AT89C51) hardware design with software development (Device Driver).

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project is used to develop a small robot which can be used in different places where we have to transfer some load to the destinations in one big area. Here we are taking four tables which are placed at the corners of the square plane. The robot is place in the centre of the plane. At each every table a keypad is used which contains call, release and destination table numbers. According to the destinations we have given the robot will moves to that particular table.
