SECTION 2: PROJECT DESCRIPTION

         
          In modern days many automatic devices require timers for the proper operation of the devices. Presently all the world is going into automation. In this project we are designing a count down timer where you can start the timer and view the timer. In this timer we are keeping one buzzer to give buzzer for every one second. As an advanced application we can also use the same device as a timer.

Ø  Sensors interfacing.
Ø  Seven segment interfacing.
Ø  4x3 Hex keypad interfacing
Ø  Buzzer, switches, led interfacing with micro controller.

SECTION 7: SOFTWARES USED

Ø  A Cross compiler for compiling and linking the code written for AT89C51.
Ø  Serial communication software for downloading code to AT89C51.
Ø  Operating system: Windows XP.
