PASSWORD BASED CONTROL OF INDUSTRIAL APPLIANCES

SECTION 1: PROJECT TYPE

Micro controller (AT89C51) hardware design with software development (Device Driver).

SECTION 2: PROJECT DESCRIPTION

                The aim of this project is to provide the security for the Industrial appliances by providing some security code to operate the device. A small hardware model, which is as real as real world application, is built in this project. The user must give correct security code to operate the devices. The device will be activated whenever the authorized person enters the correct password, other wise the appliances will not be operated. It can further implemented to give a buzzer when a person enters the wrong code. In this project we are providing security for some areas and it gives some alarms when any person passes through that zone i.e. Compound wall security. We also place the fire sensor in this project. if any fire occurs it will detect and give alarm to the security person.

SECTION 5: SOFTWARES USED
Ø  A Cross compiler for compiling and linking the code written for AT89C51.
Ø  Serial communication software for downloading code to AT89C51.
Ø  Operating system: Windows XP.
