IR based 8 channel Remote control using AT89S51

 PROJECT DESCRIPTION


This Project “INFRARED REMOTE SWITCH USING MICROCONTROLLER” is used to switch on/off the Home Appliances by using a standard Remote control. The system is used to switch on/off upto six electrical devices. All the above processes are controlled by the 8 bit Microcontroller AT89C2051. The Microcontroller receives the Infrared Signal from the receiver and it decodes and switch on/off the appropriate Device. The Range of the system is upto 10 meters. The system works on Phillips RC5 format. The project can switch on/off electrical devices of maximum load current of 5Amperes. High power loads can also be connected by changing the Relay. The Microcontroller is used to receive the Infrared signal from the Transmitter, the received signal is processed by the Microcontroller and according to the signal the corresponding device is switched ON/OFF.

          In Present days all the machines are controlled from remote areas. Presently all companies are going for automation by using P.C. In this project we are designing a hardware which is going to be connected to the serial communication port. In this software is also designed by using VB6.0 to control the motors from the P.C. We can control the devices from the system they are connected, not only that we can also control those devices from the distinct places through WAN or LAN.

 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

         
Now you can control your mouse cursor and windows media player with your TV remote... So when you are watching a movie or listening songs on your PC, you need not to get up from your seat to change the volume or to change the track.. you can simply use your TV remote to do this for you from the sensors, and this signals operated under the control of software which is stored in ROM. We also providing a control system using same remote, you can control your needed home appliances or a devices that are operate on AC/DC its a multipurpose remote controlling system.

REMOTE CONTROLLED PC BASED SPY ROBOT

  ABSTRACT

                 The main aim of the project is to capture images from dangerous areas and highly terrain areas where human access is not feasible. For this purpose we design a camera subsystem which captures the images and sends
 them to computer for further processing. The entire project is composed of 4 main sub-systems which are as follows:

·         Design of robotic rover
·         Mechanical design of robotic arm placed on rover
·         Interfacing RF (transceiver) circuit for transmitting the controls to arm.
·         Processing & rectifying the captured images in PC

             The control of robotic rover, camera is done by using RF. The camera is mounted on the robotic arm. The movements of rover and robotic arm are controlled with the help of a PC. Depending on the command transmitted through RF module to camera mounted on robotic arm, the camera moves and captured image is transmitted to serial port of PC. This captured image is processed in MATLAB using image-processing techniques for compression to make it easy for further transmission, as an ordinary image occupies a large memory on disk, now is the image is compressed and made available for transmission. The wheels are designed to move on any type of surface.
